Unfortunately I DO KNOW how agrravating that is. Not here, but on other sites. When the Site bumps it off or won't accept it then it's even worse, since you have no control over that. It's at least your own fault if you accidently close the page while your looking for something on BoxRec (which is why I highlight and copy before I go wandering off checking things). I'd have liked to have read your take on young Williams, but I also know the last thing you wanna do is go back and have to ressurect the post from scratch.

10-4 Murph ;-)

BTW -...Mosley is a FIVE to one favorite over Judah? Huh...( I would have probably guessed about 2-1 or 3-1 on that one...) Cotto is about a 20-1 fav and as high as about 30 or 35 at some places at last check (Just a bit too high I.M.O! I think Gomez will give him a pretty good go) I like Cintron at 3-1, Tarver-Woods just about a 'tossup', and I like Dawson.

I also kinda like Chagaev as the SLIGHT underdog or even-money, but that one could be close.

Oh -- If that last fight listed actually happens? I like Mayweather at Minus 2 or 3-1!

Versus Oscar in Sept? I actually think Oscar has a real chance to score a close 'split decision' type victory there...I would guess he'll be about a 2-1 underdog just 'shooting from the (Joe) hip'...

I'm surprised Judah is a 5-1 Dog too, but of course these things aren't set up as a expectation of the fight itself neccesarly, but simply to encourage betting, and it might be that after so many major fight disappointments, that you have to give 5-1 in order to get any action on Zab Judah.

Hmm...yeah Murphy...I think you'll see that line go down as the fight approaches. I bet it doesn't go off at more than 3-1.
bizzack wrote on Apr 18
...I would actually be flat-out shocked if that fight went off at more than 3-1 Murphy.

If it drops enough, then it might be a good idea to bet Judah now at 5-1 and then bet later on Mosley on the short odds (I'm guessing 5-2 by the time the fight starts) and basically ending up with a free bet on Judah.

Yep, 10-4 on that Murphy. And I think that is in fact a real legitimate possibility, dare I say it's may even be flat-out likely. I could see Mosley being no more than a 2-1 favorite come fight time.

( Yeah...* looks down at picture of Murph and...Mosley???!!! )

"Yeah, that's right guys, you heard me right Shane: You are NOT going to be a big favorite come fight time, and furthermore? Hey -- you just MIGHT even LOSE. Yes, Judah is extremely unpredictable, and yes -- you looked pretty damn good versus Cotto - I in fact had you winning 7-5 - but you ARE closer to 40 than 30, and Judah - when on his game - is no pushover slouch!"

BTW - I don't believe you when you say that you "didn't know" that you were getting anabolic roids from Conte and Balco, Shane. C'mon Shane...you are a top world-class athlete -- how in the world could you NOT know what you were putting in your body? What in the hell did you think you were getting from that 'oddly lucrative and successful' little S.F clinic??? "Flintstone Vitamins"??? ( Or no -- you probably thought you were getting the ol' Vitamin-B12 shot or flaxseed oil, eh Shane? )

I'll tell you what Shane: If you in fact truly did NOT know what you were getting?

You aren't guilty of being a conniving cheater -- but a completely idiotic and moronic JACKASS.

P.S - Your wife is "kinda hot" Shane, but she kinda seems like a bitch...

Take Care,

Bizzy

I know my Avatar confirms that I'm a big Shane fan, but I don't buy his story either. I know that Conte looks like he's off the Set of the Sporanos, but the end result is that he's right about the $900 a month payments. How much Centrum will that buy? :) It's like trying to beleive that Barry Bonds, or any other World Class Athlete, would put something on their body without knowing exactly what it was, or not wondering why Flaxseed Oil doubled your home run production ;) The amazing thing, to me, is that both Shane and Barry went down this path when both already HAD Hall of Fame Careers. I can see a young guy looking for the boost, and I can even see a Desperate Vargas that would rather die than lose to DLH, but to be near the top already and still want the edge is hard to understand really. I mean, when you score a big victory with the advantage, how do you justify it in your own mind? Not just getting caught, but even if you don't?
