The look on his face while on the Canvas is very reminiscent of Milton McCrory after Donald Curry leveled him, only McCrory was moving his shoulders in an attempt to rise.
As for the Ref,one of the oldtimers might recall a CBS fight in the Seventies when Roberto Duran stopped Lou Bizzaro. Bizzaro is staggered and the Ref steps in and gives him a Standing Eight Count(maybe ruling that the Ropes held him up)and then seconds later Duran drops him and Bizzaro barely beats the Count, and then when he gets dropped again, his Corner starts in and the Ref sends them out and finishes the Ten Count :) I don't know if there was no 3 KD Rule, but it was interesting that he showed Safety Consciousness with the Standing Eight, and then dismissed the Corner to administer that last count, which clearly couldn't have been beat by the Count of Fifty.
